Abstract: The pipeline system is the main alternative for effective and economical distribution of oil and gas, both on land and at sea, so that it is necessary to design according to standards and meet service life. The pipeline systems that currently designed are two flowlines in the onshore pipeline system in West Papua. Geographical conditions and social activities around the flowline must be considered, such as roads, rivers and residential areas in flowlines design. In addition, the design of flowline must meet installation, hydrotest, and operation conditions, that include material selection based on API 5L, wall thickness design based on ASME B31.8, concrete weight support design for pipes that pass through the river by conducting a stability analysis based on DNV RP E305 and free span analysis based on DNV 1981, end expansion analysis, and pipe stress analysis with the finite element method program, as well as road crossing analysis for pipes under the highway roads based on API RP 1102. After the analysis and design, it was found that the two flowlines were designed using API 5L X65 steel pipe material coated with Incoloy 825 cladding and 3LPP external anti-corrosion coating. The thickness of the flowline A1 and A2 walls are 7.14 mm and 8.74 mm, respectively. Flowline A1 uses cube-shaped concrete weight support with ribs along 0.53 m, while flowline A2 does not require concrete weight support. Distance between two supports on flowline A1 is 12.2 m and it meets allowable free span 31.3 m. End expansion that occurs in flowline A1 is 391.2 mm, while flowline A2 is 411.8 mm. Pipeline stress analysis conducted on the CAESAR II program states that flowline A2 meet allowable stresses. Road crossing analysis states that flowlines A1 does not meet requirement and should be remidated by increase wall thickness to 8.38 m or use casing with API 5L Grade B steel pipe with a diameter of 14 inches and a thickness of 9.53 mm.
